Our Mission

MachineFunded exists because equipment-financing information online is mostly written by people who want your phone number before they'll tell you anything. We are the other thing: an independent research desk covering business-purpose equipment loans and leases. We read the lender disclosures, the SBA program documents, and the IRS publications, then publish what we found in plain language — including the parts where the honest answer is "it depends." The research is free to read, with no gates. If you want financing, our desk connects you with third-party funding partners — we are not a lender, we do not make credit decisions, and nothing we publish is individualized financial, tax, or legal advice.

How We Work

Every page on MachineFunded follows the same rules: primary sources over lender marketing, no numbers we cannot attribute, no fabricated testimonials or credentials, and clear caveats where rules change (Section 179 caps, program rates). Our staff bylines are pseudonymous pen names for the research desk — we do not claim professional credentials we do not hold. Some outbound links are affiliate links, and we may receive compensation from the financing partners we connect readers with; neither ever changes what we write. If you apply directly with a lender from our research, we never see your information; if you ask us for financing options, your request is shared with funding partners only as described in our privacy policy. Scope note: we cover financing for business use only — no consumer or household lending.
